I'm Cara Dempers a professional portrait painter with over 9 years of painting experience. I've devoted my artistic practice to portrait painting since 2020.

My art is influenced by contemporary artists like Jane French and Ines Longevial. My painting technique is highly influenced by Johannes Vermeer's glazing and the "fat over lean" principle in oil painting.

Portrait painting has been very rewarding and one of my greatest pleasures. I am part of something so unique, and personal and can emotionally impact my clients lives.
